How to Remove Brassy Tones From Brown Hair

For a long time, our faces have been reveling in our dedicated attention. But what about our bodies? Nowadays, there are potent body products that take inspiration from the actives we slather on our complexions, so it was only a matter of time before body tools leapt onto our radar. After all, we've been pretty obsessed with LED masks and jade rollers for a while—why should our bodies be left out of the conversation?

Unsurprisingly, e-tailer Cult Beauty has noted a leap in sales of body tools by 175.78% YoY, with millennials being the group most likely to snap up a body tool. "Hyper-informed consumers armed with extensive research on the latest professional salon treatments are looking to harness this technology in their homes," notes Cult Beauty founder, Alexia Inge. When it comes to body tools, consumers are looking at the old and new. The team at Cult Beauty notes, "They are going both ways: very high tech and sophisticated salon at-home products or ancient remedies, with the rise of precious stones like rose quartz, amethyst and obsidian and Gua Sha in various stones. There is also a marriage of old and new—a vibrating roller using stone, for example."

The main areas for body tools are at-home treatments, tools for hair removal and toning, body makeup, and also tools aimed at relaxation.

Below we've rounded up the 10 best body tools worth trying.

This nifty microcurrent device smooths and firms areas like the butt, upper arms, tummy, and thighs. If you use it every day for five minutes on each area you want to treat and stick at it for 60 days, the results are pretty impressive. But you shouldn't rely on a gadget 100%. The gym will keep your muscles and heart strong and healthy, and the NuBody is just the icing on the cake.

Silk'n Infinity Hair Removal Device

Silk'n

Silk'n Infinity Hair Removal Device $399 $339

Shop

Using painless pulses of light, as well as galvanic energy, this device tackles unwanted hair. It works pretty well on all skin tones and hair colors (most at-home IPL gadgets don't work on blond, grey, or red hair or darker skin tones) as long as there is enough pigment in the hair. Read all about the gadget's specifications to see if it's right for you, here. It's not cheap, but you get 400,000 pulses out of the device, which is more than enough to treat your whole body and then some—pretty good, considering in-salon hair removal ain't cheap.
